Program Description:
ABC Studio (Architecture in Barcelona and Chicago)


Two weeks BCN/ Five weeks Chicago
Dates: Barcelona       June 09-25
           Chicago          June 25-July 26

A six-week studio (6 credit hours) focusing on urbanism and/or housing (affordable, or simply collective housing).  This would begin with two weeks in Barcelona followed by 4 weeks in Chicago. It would be led by a UIUC professor with the assistance of Prof. Alejandro Lapunzina, and the participation of numerous guests both in Barcelona and Chicago.  It will include numerous visits to relevant sites in Barcelona and in Chicago, as well as lectures/presentations by special guests.
