Program Description:
By completing the information requested, you are submitting a proposal for a faculty-led program whose development and administration is fully assisted by staff in the Office of Illinois Abroad and Global Exchange (IAGE). The program leader proposes the study content and itinerary and IAGE staff work alongside the program leader on overall development and administration of the program. These courses are, in effect, co-sponsored by IAGE and the academic department and/or college issuing credit. IAGE will accept proposals from faculty who are willing to partner with providers, such as Customized Education Programs Abroad (CEPA) or the Institute for Study Abroad (IFSA).

Once you have submitted the information requested, the proposal will be sent to the sponsoring department chair and sponsoring college dean to review and approve. A designated committee in IAGE will be meeting to review various factors of the program and a decision will be reached on whether or not your program will be moved to the next stage of recruitment and development. 

For Spring Short-Term and Summer Short-Term proposals (Deadline of July 15), the IAGE committee will be meeting to review one week after the proposal deadline, so please be sure to have all questionnaires completed no later than July 15 as we need ample time to prepare all of the information you submitted for the committee review.
