Programs : Brochure

This page is the brochure for your selected program. You can view the provided information for this program on this page and click on the available buttons for additional options.
Program Description:
By completing the information requested, you are submitting a proposal for a faculty-led program whose development and administration is fully assisted by staff in the Office of Illinois Abroad and Global Exchange (IAGE). The program leader proposes the study content and itinerary and IAGE staff work alongside the program leader on overall development and administration of the program. These courses are, in effect, co-sponsored by IAGE and the academic department and/or college issuing credit. IAGE will accept proposals from faculty who are willing to partner with providers on-site for logistical and other support, such as Campus B, Customized Education Programs Abroad (CEPA) or the Institute for Study Abroad (IFSA). We will work with faculty to find suitable program partners for varied program destinations.

Once you have submitted the information requested, the proposal will be sent to the sponsoring department chair and sponsoring college dean to review and approve. IAGE staff will meet to review various factors of the program, and a decision will be reached on whether or not your program will be moved to the next stage of recruitment and development.

As we need ample time to review all of the information you submit and begin developing the program, this proposal form is due:
- June 1 for Spring Short-Term and Summer Short-Term proposals
- March 15 for Winter Short-Term proposals
