Applications are invited from advanced graduate students to participate in a student academic exchange between the University of Barcelona and the University of Illinois. Appointment to this exchange will include a teaching assistantship in Barcelona for the 2008-2009 academic year. To ensure full consideration applications should be received by January 15, 2009. |Qualifications||Master's degree completed by spring prior to appointment, survival Spanish/Catalan, must be native American speaker with some teaching experience. Endorsement of major department. Consideration is also given to the potential academic benefits that candidates may gain toward meeting academic goals, particularly at the U. of I., by participating in this exchange. Students continuing for the PhD are encouraged to apply.|
